Okay I'm ready for Christmas now.
I know some people hate the Christmas consumerism deal, but I just love the warm cozy aesthetics, the lights and food...not to mention opportunities for parties. And the music. Sorry but I'm gonna blast it and you better sing or bad things will happen to your Italy curl. Oh yeah and snow plz! Being a lazy bum who doesn't drive I couldn't care less.

I finally had a Halloween party! I don't think I've ever had one on the actual day in at least 10 years. I usually do something the day before and end up being a loner. Lame.
But this year was great!

I was a Lolita( aka trying to make the slutty version look cuter XD) version of Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I will have some crack pictures up soon when I get them. Dressing up my Beast/the Spartan they left behind was fun. With his awesome fang lisp. Ahahaha. Wearing an inacurate store bought cosplay made me want to make Belle's dress for real. But it will probably end up being one of those costumes that gets put off cause I don't have the time or money. Although learning how to make a ball gown would be useful knowledge I'm sure in my sewing en devours.

We played lots of board games and ate lots of candy, veggies and dip and mango juice. I had an unreasonable amount of mango juice.

These are eight things about me: (I'm pretty sure I've done this...)

1. I can't watch horror movies. I do not enjoy the thrill of being scared shitless. Cause it stays with me for a loooong time. I watched the Grudge almost a year ago and it still scares me.

2. I have all three versions of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy dvds (theatrical, extended, limited edition) and have watched EVERYTHING on them. I am a huge nerd. (now I just need blue ray.....)

3. Which resulted in me hoarding babsitting money when I was younger and buying Arwens Sword replica.

4. A few years ago I started a new hobby of making cupcakes. These arn't your cake mix funfetti cupcakes. I go for the real deal with high quality ingrediants and interesting combinations.

5. The only sewing lessons I have are from a grade 8 sewing elective. You can go a long way with learning from patterns and the internet. Just take it slow and work your way up.

6. I am a PC. When I first used a Mac at school from the first time since grade 7 I couldn't find the power button. University. Making me feel stupid every day.

7. I love classic Disney 2D animation. Who doesn't. Recently Pixar has jumped into my favourites too with the release of UP. My all time favourites being: The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and 101 Dalmations.

8. I talk to inanimate objects.... a lot. Even when I'm not alone. I'm not just talking about that gosh darn appliance that doesn't do what you want it to do, but I just sympathized with my laptops power cord after it fell off the bed.
